Cafés

Stop by one of our cosy Cafés for a tasty treat after you stroll around the lake or browse our gallery. Found on either side of Highfields Park both of our cafés are the perfect pit stop for a playdate.

The perfect spot for catching up with friends or a relaxed business meeting. If you’re visiting our Djanogly Gallery this is a great place to round off your visit with coffee and cake. The Gallery Café serves breakfast, snacks, lunches and afternoon tea. 

Opening times: 
Tuesday – Saturday: 10am-4pm
Sunday: 12noon-4pm

Pavilion Café and Kiosk - Daytime

The Pavilion Café is in our DH Lawrence Pavilion and offers a beautiful view of the lake.  

Here you’ll find a variety of delicious cakes, speciality teas and coffees plus a range of breakfast and lunch options. We have plenty of indoor seating, plus high chairs are available. 

If you’re on the go, stop by the Pavilion Kiosk. Grab a coffee, enjoy the range of snacks and sandwiches for on-the-go, or make the most of our outdoor seating. 

Opening times: 
Monday – Friday: 8am-4pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am-4pm 

*For evening events the Pavilion Café is open from 5.45pm until the interval or 7.30pm, whichever is latest.

If you’re joining us for an evening event you’ll be to enjoy drinks and snacks ahead of the event or enhance your visit to Lakeside with a pre-show meal!

Enjoy a freshly prepared, two-course pre-show meal in the Pavilion Café. Order your food in advance of your visit and receive a complimentary glass of house wine or a soft drink to enjoy with your meal, or during the interval.

Ticket holders can book their pre-show meal up to three days in advance of the event. Contact our Box Office (0115 846 7777) or book when purchasing your tickets.
