An imaginative and electrifying performer, Chinese pianist Zee Zee (Zhang Zuo) is in demand as a concerto and recital soloist worldwide. She was a BBC New Generation Artist 2013-15, making her BBC Proms debut in 2014.

Robert Schumann​ Faschingsschwank Aus Wien (Carnival Scenes from Vienna), Op.26
Brahms Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, Op.24

Clara Schumann composed the Trois Romances for solo piano while on a recital tour of Europe 1838-39. Robert Schumann’s colourful impressions of Carnival in Venice also date from 1839. Brahms’ virtuosic and monumental Handel Variations gifted to Clara Schumann on her birthday in 1861, completes the programme. “a powerful, passionate and compelling representation of pure artisty” Los Angeles Times
