Join astronaut Tim Peake in a thrilling high-speed spaceflight with a new virtual reality experience Space Descent from the Science Museum Group.

Experience what it feels like to sit inside the Soyuz capsule as it makes its dangerous high-speed journey back to Earth. Space Descent retraces Tim Peake’s 400km journey back to Earth from the International Space Station through an immersive, 360° 3D virtual reality experience.

Created by the award-winning Alchemy VR, this experience is a thrilling ride previously experienced only by a handful of astronauts and is narrated by Tim Peake himself, the UK’s first European Space Agency astronaut.
