Septura brings together the very best brass players in the UK – between them holding principal positions in the Royal Philharmonic, London Symphony, BBC Symphony and Philharmonia orchestras. Brass instrument have long been vital to the festive musical fabric. Here Septura focus on some of the highlights of the rich Christmas canon, including Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, with narration of E.T.A Hoffmann’s short story ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’ by Tanya Myers.
