The multi-award-winning fado singer LINA_ brings her contemporary take on this traditional singing style.

The folk tradition of fado, songs with melancholic melodies and lyrics, originated in Lisbon, Portugal. Here she performs music from her highly acclaimed album Fado Camões based on poetry by the 16th-century Portuguese poet Luís Vaz de Camões. On stage she is joined by Ianina Khmelik (keyboards), Pedro Viana (Portuguese guitar), and guest artists Justin Adams (guitar) and John Baggott (keyboards).
