Step into a fantastical universe this summer at Lakeside Arts’ Djanogly Gallery, where Bruce Asbestos’ vibrant inflatables will bring joy and wonder to all ages. The “Monster Fun” exhibition promises a playful escape into a world where imagination knows no bounds.

In “Monster Fun,” renowned artist Bruce Asbestos brings his whimsical creations to life. Mega Bunny, Egg Cat, and Octopus all larger-than-life inflatable characters, will take over the gallery, transforming it into a dynamic storybook setting. These colourful giants are more than just eye-catching; they invite visitors to engage with art in a fun and interactive way.

Asbestos, known for blending everyday objects with high art and global pop culture, has crafted an experience where children and families can immerse themselves in creativity. The exhibition includes hands-on activities, such as monster-making activities with plasticine, ensuring that everyone gets to unleash their inner artist.

Running from August 1st to September 8th, “Monster Fun” is perfect for a summer day out. With free admission and SEND-friendly sessions every Wednesday, it’s an inclusive event that welcomes all. The gallery will be open Tuesday through Sunday, making it easy for families to plan their visit.
