Writing for wellbeing is a simple and rewarding way to help you to make space for reflection. With a focus on the therapeutic power of the writing process, we’ll use the exhibition as a creative springboard for a range of writing activities that will connect us with our thoughts and feelings and help to develop self-expression.
Each workshop is different and standalone – attend all four or as many as you can. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Refreshments will be available.
Aimed at anyone who is interested in creative exploration through words in a relaxed and supportive environment. No previous experience is necessary.
Counter Culture is part of a wider research project called Chemists to the Nation, Pharmacy to the World: Exploring the Global Dimensions of British Healthcare and Beauty with Boots the Chemists, 1919-1980 which is supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
