We are delighted to be partnering with Creswell Crags, who are delivering educational pre-history discovery days at the University of Nottingham Museum, Lakeside Arts.
Taking place during term time, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, these engaging and practical Key Stage 2 sessions are designed to build understanding of the changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age.
A visit to the University of Nottingham Museum is the perfect way to learn about pre-historic Britain. Your students will have an opportunity to learn what we know about prehistory and how we know about the changes that took place.
There are two different discovery days you can choose from – a Spirit of the Stone Age Day and an Archaeology Adventure Day.
The University of Nottingham Museum is an award-winning museum that holds a collection of regional archaeology covering 250,000 years. It is based at Lakeside Arts on University Park Campus, NG7 2RD, right next to our Djanogly Gallery.
The award-winning Learning Team from Creswell Crags have been delivering high quality educational activities to visiting primary school groups for many years. They have now used their vast experience and expertise to create these unique activity packages for children to learn about prehistory through engaging and interactive sessions at the University of Nottingham Museum.
